This was announced as written for the kinkmeme prompt 'humiliation', and while there's some of that there, this fic is so much more. It squeezed my heart. Merlin catches Arthur with a man, and can't look at him afterwards. Arthur teaches him that he shouldn't be so prejudiced...

"No, thanks. I'd rather get some sleep." And then there is a tale of fun and frolic, and Merlin forcing some manners and people skills into Arthur, whether he likes it or not :) To be honest, I love everything Astolat writes, but this one stood out for me, in it's sweetness and humour.

It wasn’t as though his other charges were undemanding. Google wasn’t turning up much in the way of help on caring for your first pterodactyl, and Myfanwy wasn’t eating very well. At least, she wasn’t eating food very well. She ate technology, carrying out dawn raids on the computers and spreading wires about like entrails. She liked paperwork too, and shredded it with relish as fast as Ianto could file. And then there was Jack, who was blessedly uncurious about Ianto’s personal life, but none the less demanding in his own way. A lovely, lovely fic, with very realistic animal training (which is not surprising given this is smirnoffmule :) Great appearance by Myfanwy, but a gorgeous, honest look at Jack and Ianto too.

What he calls you isn’t your name. A Jack/John fic set in the timeloop. It's a vicious, beautifully lyrical piece. Not a comfortable read, but oh boy, what a ride.

Ianto shook his head, keeping his eyes fixed on Jack's. "I know why you're really here. You're not interested in what's in that box," and the way he said it was almost hypnotic. He approached slowly, and his expression was the same as when he'd been reaching to touch the fresh weevil bite on Jack's neck; purposeful, knowing. "You're not interested in what I'm doing. You're interested in me." Hot and angsty - who could ask for more? Oblivious Jack fucking Ianto right next to Lisa in a crate. It works on so many levels :)

My god, the funniest fic I've read in a long time - preposterous, and sly, and fandom references all over the place. It's a crossover too - Lewis/Torchwood. I've never even watched Lewis - it didn't matter. Fantastic!

Ianto turns into a jellyfish. There is tentacle sex. It's not as cracky as it seems :) (Actually, it's beautiful and angsty, and with a happy ending, just like I like my fic. Highly recommended.)
