The much anticipated movie ‘Kings of Kung Fu’ gathers two kung fu superstars Jackie Chan (Cheng Long) and Jet Li (Li Lianjie), and two Chinese beauties Crystal Liu Yifei and Li Bingbing. Source says that in the screenplay, the American boy is in great danger when he meets with Jackie, Jet and Crystal. The three people protect the boy to rescue the Monkey King who is played by a Chinese mainland actor. The Silent Monk doesn’t have many lines just like his name and emphasizes on his action. Lu Yan played by Jackie has more lines than Jet. However, the whole movie will focus on the American boy so both Jet and Li Bingbing only have a few lines.

The martial arts action movie staring Jackie Chan (成龙) and Jet Li (李连杰) for the first time on the bigscreen is called "The Forbidden Kingdom" now. The movie is set to be released by 2008. Director Rob Minkoff ("The Lion King," "Stuart Little") is set to begin lensing the movie in China on May 2 from a script by John Fusco. Action choreographer Yuen Woo-ping (袁和平), who has worked on films including "The Matrix" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (卧虎藏龙)," is creating the fight sequences.

Chan took to the stage to officially launch the ceremony to begin the worldwide search for his -- "Disciple."
