This story made a huge impact on me when I first read it early on in my initial SV fic blitz. But whenever I see it recced (which is a *lot*), I remember it rather vaguely as being about Lex's bodyguard. Of course, I could not be more wrong, but my brain shies away in self-defense. In fact, in this story, Lex is confronted with the idea that Clark is an alien and follows that hypothesis to its logical conclusion. Completed: Some time in 2002?
