Square-Enix announced in the Japanese magazine Shonen Jump that they are working on Final Fantasy XII: Returning Wings for the Nintendo DS. First artwork shown.

Here ’s a list of this weeks US game releases. Not many, but not bad for in the middle of the summer. All the websites are listed for you to check out. Most notable this week are Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII (PS2), Ninety-Nine Nights (Xbox 360), Deep Labyrinth (DS) and F.E.A.R. Combat (PC).

Sony announced the winners of the annual PlayStation awards in Japan, for bestsellers that sold the most between May 2005 and 2006. Of course Final Fantasy XII came out on top.

Square Enix just revealed its final summer lineup. The company plans to ship four different games. Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (already out), Dirge of Cerberus, Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime and Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria.
