iPod Games allows you to buy games for $4.99 in the iTunes Store online, download and sync them with your fifth-generation iPod, and iTunes automatically transfers the games to your iPod. Then you’re off to play one of nine casual games.

A study by Harris Interactive found that 31% of the over-18 year olds set preferred the games to TV for whiling away a spare hour. Watching movies at home fared better, with 21% choosing games instead, but going to the movie theater did slightly worse with 35%.
