Atari lets you play free Atari games online anywhere! The re-launch of Atari will give classic gaming fans the chance to play Atari’s legendary, addictive coin-op arcade and 2600 classics in the new Atari Arcade for free.
BlazBlue 2: Continuum Shift has been announced by Arc System Works and it is set for release this Winter in Japanese arcades. With planned releases for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Microsoft will be putting six Xbox Live Arcade games (as well as three demos) onto a compilation package that will be available to buy in stores for those that do not have Internet access. Titled Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged, the cost will be $40 though it includes a free one-month subscription to Xbox Live Gold.
RoboBlitz is a fast-paced action game featuring puzzle-solving and unique physics-based weapons. RoboBlitz combines the power of the Unreal Engine 3 and Ageia PhysX as you can see in the trailer.
At Comic-Con Behemoth gameplay designer/programmer Tom Fulp and lead artist Dan Paladin spoke about their two latest projects: Alien Homonid 360 (widescreen remake due 2006) and Castle Crashers (new game due first quarter 2007) for Xbox Live Arcade. Alien Homonid 360 will have 2-player online co-op. Castle Crashers will have 4-player online co-op.
Microsoft’s Xbox Live director Larry Hryb, who ’s also known by his gamertag: Major Nelson, mentioned 50 games would be out by the end of the year. We decided to check if that’s true.
