Team Ninja is improving upon the Xbox original in all areas: The visuals, including characters, stages and effects, are being upgraded. All cut-scenes (old & new) in the PS3 version will be real-time.

The latest issue of Famitsu revealed that Tecmo ’s Team Ninja is working on a remake of the Xbox game Ninja Gaiden (Black) called Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

Team Ninja ’s lead designer Tomonobu Itagaki got interviewed about the upcoming Xbox 360 sim/volleyball game Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 (DOAX2). Luckily for us the interview strayed onto other topics as well, like Ninja Gaiden 2.

Tecmo, the maker of the Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden series announced as part of a financial report issued on August 28th, that the company will support the Wii ’s Virtual Console “aggressively.” Expect Ninja Gaiden and Tecmo Bowl!
