Disasters happen to the best of computers. Luckily, open source apps like SystemRescueCD, dd, Partedmagic, BackTrack, Security Tools Distribution, Helix, and TestDisk can help recover important data and bring dead systems back to life.

TinyMe is an effort to create a very small remaster of PCLinuxOS. We do this for those of you who have old computers, like to mess around with small/fast systems, or want to program for a lightweight environment. TinyMe is comparable to distributions like Puppy1), AntiX, and DSL. If you like small distributions and you like PCLinuxOS, you'll probably like TinyMe.

This software application allows you to use your Nintendo Wii remote to create a very low-cost interactive whiteboard system or tablet display. It uses the infrared(IR) camera built into the tip of each Wii remote to track the location IR light pens.

his nifty boot floppy makes it easy to boot your computer from various devices, and is especially good for booting from a CD in machines with older (or flaky) BIOS.
