Helter Skelter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kind of freaky that googling for "helter skelter" brings up mostly Manson links I didn't even know really about the Charles Manson connection, I just wanted to know about the song. Well, freak out. But the Wikipedia article about the song is good (although the excessively detailed enumeration of references in popular culture are kind of silly) and of course, the linked analysis by Alan W. Pollack is excellent as always, and confirms and discusses things I had only registered subconsciously.
