Athletic director Tom Jurich expects the pool of candidates to be whittled down to one within just a few days.

LSU offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher is leaving to become the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Florida State. Fisher agreed to a three year contract at FSU with a base salary of $215,000. He is the eighth offensive coordinator during head coach Bobby Bowden's 31 years at FSU.
