Well, the Y chromosome was already in a gradual state of corruption/decline/erasure from the human genome anyways due to not clearly understood evolutionary reasons (a long range problem for the human species potentially), but this would potentially accelerate the issue since there would no longer be a fundamental need for men, thus no compelling reason for preservation of the Y chromosome other than as a historical curiosity.
