Aspose has published an interesting demo project that uses Aspose.Cells for .NET, Aspose.Words for .NET and about 1200 lines of custom code to convert Excel workbooks to Word documents. You can convert from any load format supported by Aspose.Cells (XLS, OOXML XLSX, SpreadsheetML, CSV, tab delimited) to any save format supported by Aspose.Words (DOC, OOXML DOCX, RTF, WordprocessingML, HTML, PDF).

Aspose.Words for Reporting Services is a rendering extension for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services that allows exporting reports in the DOC, RTF and WordprocessingML formats. All RDL report features, including tables, matrices, charts, textboxes, lists and images are converted with the highest degree of precision to Microsoft Word documents.
