When Jackie Robinson first broke the color barrier, it was a white-black issue. Sixty years later Don Imus causes a national furor with his poor attempt at humor. The icon of crankiness in a comedy attempt gone awry described the Rutgers Women Basketball team as "nappy headed ho's." The statement rose bled past the color line and into gender ladened discrimination. The point is in sixty years later, it isn't that prejudice has changed. It is our awareness has grown.
