Louis Gray is on of my favorite content creators because he does not play Gotcha with Firms he write’s about this is the sign of a person with a clear conscience -The awareness of a moral or ethical aspect to one’s conduct together with the urge to prefer right over wrong: Let your conscience be your guide. The post on Facebooks is very clean cut and to the point, well thought out ! I have always felt Facebook is a ship without a rudder ! I have no answer other than it lacks a sense of order - MarshalSandler.com is a playground of ideas, introductions, and synergies. Marshal exhibits a blogging style that is less about tamping out his thoughts and more about the juggling, rearranging, juxtaposing, and syndicating of the content of other people and companies - a communications cubism of sorts. There’s no room for crap, but there is plenty of room for friendly people with interesting ideas. In 2008, Two Contrarians Showed Blogging is Alive and Well - Authenticities - Edelman Digital I like the fact that Steve Rubel supports using stats. “Earlier this year Wired magazine created a stir when it declared that starting a blog today for thought leadership or money is fruitless. “The time it takes to craft sharp, witty blog prose is better spent expressing yourself on Flickr, Facebook, or Twitter,” Paul Boutin wrote. There’s validity to the argument. For example, there’s no way I would start a gadget blog given the competition. Not only do you have Engadget, Gizmodo and Crunchgear, but now the media’s getting into the game as well. The New York Times recently launched Gadgetwise. Wired’s thesis is certainly the conventional wisdom today. Twitter, Friendfeed and Facebook all posted massive growth this year. Blogging, meanwhile, declined by some measures. Daily postings receded from 1.5 million per day last year to 900,000 in 2008, according to Technorati. Conventional wisdom, however, is where you find contrarians thriving. And in 2008 two stood out - Jeremiah Owyang and Chris Brogan. AdaptiveBlue Launches Glue to Show You Who’s Visiting What on the Web October 28, 2008 - 9:00 am PDT - by Adam Ostrow 10 Comments Semantic Web startup AdaptiveBlue is launching a new service today called Glue. The concept is sort of similar to MyBlogLog – showing recent visitors to a certain webpage – except it’s more like recent visitors to a given concept. So, for example, if you’re looking at the Wikipedia entry for the movie Iron Man, the Glue bar will show people that have visited webpages about Iron Man all around the Net, for example, on Netflix or IMDB. This all works through a combination of a Firefox add-on (Get Glue), AdaptiveBlue’s contextual technology, and analyzing your existing social networks on services like Facebook, Twitter, and Friendfeed. In turn, if you’re visiting the Iron Man page on Wikipedia, you’ll see which of your friends from those sites (who have also installed Glue) have explored Iron Man content, with options to see additional metadata like comments, reviews, or “likes.” Additionally, Glue wants to help you discover new people, so you’ll see other members of Glue who are interested in the concept you’re viewing.
