The expectation is that much of the internet traffic originating from the Pepsi Center and Invesco Field at Mile High relating to the Democratic National Convention (DNC), will be blogger traffic, including video blogs, in addition to the traditional media... and Joesph Biden becomes Barack Obama V.P. running mate after his name was leaked ahead of any formal announcement. There is no with more foreign policy experience in either political party than Joseph Biden, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and 2x Presidential Candidate.
Does the United States now elect slackers who abuse their privilege of representing this nation by NOT fulfilling their duties in Congress, so they can run for higher office? Or do complacent voters just neglect these facts and further contribute to this compounded problem by simply turning their cheek the other way? Pretty disgusting if you ask me either way- that any U.S. Congressman or U.S. Senator has the impudence to quot;expect quot; from American citizens to respect them and their potential future leadership in higher office, when in turn they do NOT deserve the current Congressional seat they are occupying by not performing their existing Constitutional obligation...
No doubt President Bush and his entire NeoCon White House, as well as the stupendous GOP affable mouthpieces Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Haggerty would rather be dead, than be caught talking with sincere civility to suspected enemies of the state (one of the reasons the United States failed unilateral foreign policy has been so detrimental to worldwide stability), and the same failed U.S. policies that are so diametrically counter/opposed to Barack Obama’s U.S. the world partnership in which his recent Berlin speech clearly proposed.
Yacrosoft or Michoo – too Icahnish?
When America was once prosperous, not too long ago and most U.S. industries had at least a bright near-term economic future, the greedy class of American could enrich themselves privately, away from the media and general public – but, those times have changed. This recent statement in The Washington Post article says it all - “Icahn, who owns a 5 percent stake in Yahoo, emphasized he still believes a sale of all or part of Yahoo may still be the best way for the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company to lift its sagging stock price.”
No mention whatsoever has been discussed publicly of what to fix that people don’t like about Yahoo that may be causing the lack of financial windfall that Carl Icahn believes he should benefit from by investing in Yahoo, the well liked consumer based Internet icon stock.
The major worldwide athletic event of 2008 comes with four very distinct & complex perspectives, unfortunately. We intend to review these 4 Olympic perspectives: Sports (countries participating, athletes, athletic events & world records); Politics of human rights and worldwide boycott efforts, that just can't be dismissed; Environmental greenhouse gases and the worldwide ozone impact; and Globalization, where the Chinese government is showcasing it economic capabilities to the world.
“airball: The corporate version of a cat hairball. Someone who makes lots of noise, disrupts everything, has the potential to make a big mess - but ultimately does nothing.” To be sure, we are referring to the Microsoft hostile takeover fiasco over Yahoo, urged on by Carl Icahn.
This 4th of July 2008 may be the last time many of us Americans may ever feel happy about the 4th of July Independence Day meaning ... as the true American Independence heritage fades more and more each and every passing day as corporate America out-sources domestic careers, not just jobs in which entire U.S. industries become void and gone overseas most likely forever to remote places such as Bangalore, India or SuZhou in China’s Zhejiang Province. It has become clear that the U.S. Economy does NOT grow as a service industry in a globalized marketplace with sustainable careers to support American families.
