For the iPod generation, October 19, 2008 at 7:55 p.m. marked what could be considered the most pivotal moment in their lives--a music video premiere by The Jonas Brothers. The long-awaited release of the "Lovebug" music video has caused a stir among tweens because of its months-long buzz, complete with behind-the-scenes clips, making-of's, sneak peaks, teasers and what seemed to be an endless wait. (It's the adult equivalent of waiting in line at the Post Office). At this year's MTV Music Video Awards, the Jonas Brothers gave a "Seaseme Street" style performance of the song--with the stoop and all.
So what are your thoughts? Is it anticlimatic or over-the-moon?

When Ike & Tina Turner recorded "River Deep, Mountain High" in 1966, it was commercially unsuccessful in the United States, but became a huge hit in the UK. Celine Dion, Fefe Dobson, The Supremes, Annie Lennox, Neil Diamond and Tom Jones are just a few names that to take a stab at what "Beatle" George Harrison declared "A perfect record from start to finish." "Rolling Stone" magazine put it at #33 on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, and Turner is represented in the Grammy Hall of Fame for the song.
So who did it best?
